About  the Seminar:

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the film and television industry – and with it, the legal landscape. As AI tools become increasingly integrated into audiovisual development, production and distribution, professionals need to understand the evolving rules governing their use.

This online seminar provides an up-to-date overview of the key legal and regulatory developments surrounding AI in the audiovisual sector. With a particular focus on copyright and intellectual property, data protection and the EU AI Act, the seminar examines what current and emerging legislation means for film and TV professionals in practice. A case study will provide insights into concrete legal challenges and approaches to compliance in AI-driven audiovisual workflows.

Scholarship Application

Thanks to funding from Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, a limited number of local scholarships are available for media professionals residing in the regions of Berlin, Brandenburg, Thuringia, Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt.

These scholarships can cover up to 50% of the participation fee; accommodation costs are excluded. German citizenship is not required; however, applicants must have their primary residence in one of the specified regions at the time of application.
