Next Steps

Next Steps is EPI's female leadership initiative, bringing together two career programmes specifically designed to empower women* in audiovisual leadership. Through mentoring, coaching, and targeted training, Next Steps supports women executives and producers in navigating industry challenges, building professional networks, and advancing to the next stage of their careers.

Each programme combines onsite and online formats to deliver practical learning, peer exchange, and direct access to key industry events — tailored to the realities of working in today's European audiovisual landscape.

All events are conducted in English.

AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN

AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN is a programme for female professionals in mid- to senior-level management positions across all sectors of the audiovisual industry. With a focus on leadership, entrepreneurship, and change management, it equips women executives with the tools to master current industry challenges and develop innovative business models.

Programme Duration: October – April

Format: Attendance at Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event (Estland), plus online components

SERIES' WOMEN

SERIES' WOMEN is a programme for female producers active in the European series industry. Combining innovative training, pitch coaching, mentoring, and market participation, it strengthens the visibility of producers, supports their career development, and helps establish lasting professional networks.

Format: Attendance at Séries Mania (France) and TV Drama Vision (Sweden), plus online components
