As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Fifteen producers, twelve countries, one ambition: to take European series to the next level. We are proud to introduce the participants of the sixth edition of SERIES' WOMEN, EPI's European leadership programme for female producers.
Since its launch in 2021, SERIES' WOMEN has supported women producers in advancing their careers, growing their networks and increasing the visibility of female-driven projects across the European screen industry. This year's cohort was selected from a high number of applications.
From Göteborg to Lille
Over the coming months, the participants will meet decision-makers at two of Europe's most important series markets: TV Drama Vision, presented by Göteborg Film Festival in Sweden, and Series Mania Forum in Lille, France. There, they will connect with key industry players and put what they have learned to work on their own series projects.
What makes SERIES' WOMEN different
The programme combines expert-led training in visibility, leadership and digital entrepreneurship with individual mentoring and pitching coaching, tailored to each participant's career goals. A distinctive feature is the online diversity training for hiring managers and decision-makers at the participants' companies. This way, SERIES' WOMEN addresses gender equality and diversity not only individually but at company level, helping organisations become more competitive and sustainable.
