The EPI is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2nd edition of our highly anticipated workshop, "Play, Promote, Publish – Marketing Strategies for the Games Industry", commencing in summer 2024.
Designed to empower developers from both small independent studios and larger gaming companies, this comprehensive workshop will equip them with the essential marketing and self-promotion techniques needed to effectively showcase their game concepts in the market. As the gaming industry in Germany continues to thrive on the global stage, this workshop will be conducted in English, ensuring accessibility to a wide range of passionate professionals.
Participants will delve into key areas including identifying viable business models, leveraging social media platforms, and crafting strategic communication plans for game releases. Led by seasoned experts from the gaming realm, participants will gain invaluable insights and practical strategies to elevate their marketing game.
The first part of the workshop will be held in July, allowing participants to attend gamescom in Cologne in August, and immediately apply their newly acquired skills, while the subsequent two modules are scheduled for October.
